The United States Department of State is warning American citizens who are traveling and have issued a worldwide caution. The update was posted on November 17.
“Due to increased tensions in various locations around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations or violent actions against U.S. citizens and interests, the Department of State advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution.”
Currently, there are wars in Ukraine and, for the last month, in the Middle East after the Hamas terrorists group attack Israeli citizens. Several airlines and cruise lines have canceled itineraries to the Middle East, and the airspace over Russia has been closed.
There have been demonstrations against the United States worldwide over the war between Israel and Hamas.
