Warm-weather destinations in the southern United States dominate as the top destinations with rental car rentals this Thanksgiving holiday.
Allianz Partners’ Top 10 Thanksgiving Rental Car Report analyzed over 1,700 reservations to discover the top destinations in which people are renting rental cars over the Thanksgiving holiday period.
Allianz found the top rental car locations are, in order, Orlando, Dallas, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Tampa, Denver, Charlotte, Miami and Austin. The dearth of warm-weather locations could stem from a desire to leave cold-weather destinations behind or visit family out-of-state.
