WHY IT RATES: Corporate Traveler USA is creating three new regional general manager roles to facilitate growth across the United States.— Lacey Pfalz, Associate Writer, TravelPulse
Corporate Traveler USA, the flagship SME division of Flight Centre Travel Group (ASX:FLT), today announced the appointment of the company’s first-ever Regional General Managers, three newly created roles for the East, Central, and West regions.
The company’s new regional appointments include Richard Jacobi – RGM East, Clinton Voyce – RGM Central and Miling Harpur – RGM West. The executives will be responsible for leading operations and sales strategy, strengthening customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities in their respective regions, while driving value for the overall business in the United States.
Richard Jacobi – RGM East
An accomplished leader with a proven track record of success, Jacobi most recently led all operations for Corporate Traveler in the Boston area. Ever since joining the company in 2013, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to customer success and satisfaction. He will continue to be based in Boston, where he will be instrumental in shaping the growth of the East Coast business.
Clinton Voyce – RGM Central
Voyce has nearly two decades of extensive travel experience working across different leisure and corporate brands for Flight Centre Travel Group throughout his career, including various leadership roles in New Zealand and the UK. Since 2017 he has been based in Chicago, where he most recently served as an Area Leader overseeing all operations for Corporate Traveler in the Central region.
Miling Harpur – RGM West
A decorated sales leader, Harpur will transition into a dual role of RGM and Director of Sales for the West region. She will be based out of Southern California, after ten years working for Corporate Traveler in Australia, most recently as the General Manager of Sales and Commercial. Harpur has been recognized with numerous industry awards over the years, including a win for Salesperson of the Year at the prestigious Women in Travel Awards in 2017.
“As we continue to expand our footprint across the country, I am thrilled for the opportunity to appoint three exceptional leaders into these new, regionally focused roles,” said John Van den Heuvel, President, Corporate Traveler USA. “Richard, Clinton and Miling are highly effective, relationship-driven leaders with a deep understanding of the business travel landscape. They each bring a strategic mindset and approach to the business that will help drive Corporate Traveler forward as we look to tap into new markets and further broaden our reach across the three regions.”
Jacobi and Voyce’s appointments are effective immediately, with Harpur expected to start in January. They will each report to John Van den Heuvel, who just recently stepped into his new role of President of Corporate Traveler USA.
