Return 4 Blood: Doc Guide

Back 4 Blood currently has eight characters who all play unique roles. You have snipers, gunners, brawlers, and supporters. But of course every group needs a doctor. Fortunately, Doc fulfills this role. She doesn’t play any games when it comes to making sure everyone makes it out alive.

What role does Doc play in Back 4 Blood?

Doc is first and foremost a combat medic. It’s in its name and aesthetic. But don’t be fooled by her uniform, she can hold out against the Ridden. She is a boon in various instances thanks to her healing abilities for herself and her allies. If you like playing the role of doctor / healer in classroom games, first of all, thank you. Second, it is your role.

The doctor’s abilities

  • Doc can heal each teammate for 25 hit points once per level
  • + 20% healing efficiency
  • Team Effect: + 25% resistance to team trauma

The best weapons to use for Doc

Doc can use any weapon. She’s not the type to specialize in any kind of weapon per se, but should take team makeup into consideration. You would want to use her weapons which are used in ranges similar to those of her teammates so that she can always be nearby to repair them.

If paired with people with ranged charges, she should be using weapons like assault rifles and maybe a long-range pistol. Of course, if she’s with midrange to close range people, she’ll change loadouts accordingly.

The best cards to equip for Doc

Doc is a healer and has increased healing efficiency. The drugs she uses on herself or on other teammates are much more powerful than if they were to heal herself. Pair that with the fact that it offers flat resistance to damage from trauma. It essentially gives the team more damage resistance.
