Canadian Federal Budget 2022: Interview Opportunities with CPA Canada

TORONTO, March 31, 2022 /CNW/ – Three leading experts from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) are available to help explain how the 2022 federal budget, which will be unveiled on Thursday, April 7will affect Canadian families, businesses and the economy as a whole.

PCA Canada provided the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance with a pre-budget brief with recommendations, some of which were approved by the parliamentary committee in its pre-budget report. Of note, the committee wrote: “Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada has long demanded a comprehensive review of from Canada tax system to make it simpler, fairer, more efficient and more competitive. As the first step in a multi-step process, the government should execute its comprehensive new review of tax expenditures, …”.
