The tour concludes in Lisbon, which offers a blend of old-world charm and modern dynamism, from historic tram rides to modern art scenes.
Travelers can extend their Portugal stay with two new options in Madeira and the Azores.
In addition to tours in Portugal, guests can enjoy river cruising on the Douro River onboard the brand-new Suite Ship, the Avalon Alegria.

The cruise, an eight-day sailing roundtrip from Porto, features hillside vineyards and historic villages as well as postcard-perfect views on this all-new voyage filled with Avalon’s signature, include“Classic,” “Discovery” and “Active” excursion choices.
The Vida Portugal: Vineyards & Villages Along the Douro, features Amarante–the picturesque Minho region, known for its golden church that dates back to 1530, and the sandstone architecture in Salamanca, Spain.
