Currency

National Languages
The official languages of Canada are English and French - and nowhere is that more clear than in Quebec. More than half the locals speak only French, and the rest speak both English and French.
Fortunately, because there are so many English-speaking people and French Canadians with a good grasp of English, traveling in Quebec is easy even without knowing French.

Quebec observes daylight savings time for 34 weeks of the year. It starts on the second Sunday of March and ends on the first Sunday of November.
Climate And Weather
Quebec is known for its brutal winters. Winter is from December to March, with freezing days and frigid nights.
Summer offers pleasant and partly cloudy weather. The summer high rarely goes above 80°F (26°C).
The wet season, which runs through summer and fall (from May to November), has a 30% chance of rainfall almost every day.
