Princess Cruises’ 2025 Japan cruising season is now available for booking, offering 35 different cruises from seven days to 22 days long.
As the number one North American cruise line in Japan, its season, which ranges from March through August, offers travelers the opportunity to discover 36 different destinations across three remarkable countries, with a specific focus on the islands of Japan.
Highlighted itineraries include a 10-day or new 11-day Spring Flowers itinerary, available only in March and April. It takes travelers on a tour of Japan’s four main islands and follows the blooming season from south to north, ensuring they’ll enjoy one of the country’s most beloved times of year.
Another itinerary is the 10-day Japan Explorer, which takes travelers to some of Japan’s most iconic places, including Mt. Fuji, Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima.
Throughout the season, travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy one of four festivals, depending on when they are sailing. This year, travelers may enjoy the Aomori Nebuta Festival, the Kochi Yosakoi Dance Festival, the Tokushima Awa Dance Festival and the Kumano Fireworks Festival, all held in August.
Additionally, Princess Cruises is offering land tours that provide a deeper insight into some of Japan’s best, including in destinations like Kyoto, Tokyo and Mt. Fuji.
“Japan is best experienced on a cruise, sailing around this scenic island nation taking in festivals, flowers, legendary sites and landscapes,” said John Padgett, Princess Cruises president. “Our upcoming 2025 season features itineraries and offerings crafted with area tourism boards to showcase the best of the local art, cuisine, music and popular culture.”
