Paradisus by Meliá, the luxury, all-inclusive hotel brand by Meliá Hotel International, has unveiled new experiences designed to connect guests to local culture Destination Inclusive®. This new program touches nearly every aspect of each resort, spanning design and amenities, food and beverage, entertainment, and guest activities, both on and off-
property.
Guests will be connected more than ever to the resorts’ local communities, transforming the way travelers experience all-inclusive resorts. As part of this program, starting April 1, 2023, guests will access to Destination Inclusive® experiences: one-of-a-kind off-property excursions.
Destination-Inclusive® experiences will be available only for guests of the newly launched Nikté and The Reserve upgraded suite categories. Included in the nightly rate of Nikté and The Reserve, each Destination Inclusive® experience is carefully curated by local experts connecting guests with nature and the beautiful surroundings of each resort location.
At the Paradisus locations in the Riviera Maya, which include Paradisus Cancun, Paradisus La Perla, and Paradisus Playa del Carmen, guests will visit a local Cenote guided by a Mexican shaman for a private meditation and yoga class designed to cleanse energies and connect guests to the natural environment. At Paradisus Los Cabos, guests will explore the unique beauty of a nearby canyon that has been there for thousands of years. While there, guests will participate in a spiritual yoga practice and sound healing led by a local instructor. Lastly, at Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, guests will hop aboard a private catamaran and transport to a quiet, serene beach and take part in an oceanside class to connect with nature and the magic of the destination. These unique experiences will change throughout the year with the expert advice of local curators.
Recently launched throughout each resort, Nikté offers an upgraded experience for guests longing for a special touch throughout their in-room experience. Designed to satisfy guests seeking luxury and comfort, Nikté at Paradisus by Meliá provides an elevated suite offering through a series of exclusive services and perks including premium room categories, turndown service, a premium minibar, a personal destination concierge, priority dinner reservations, one complimentary dinner included at premium restaurant Sal Steak Cave when applicable, and a water ritual at the resort’s YHI Spa. For travelers looking for a more intimate stay, guests staying at any Paradisus by Meliá resort are welcomed to experience the adult-only oasis at The Reserve.
The Reserve at Paradisus by Meliá offers guests access to the resort’s adults-only secluded spaces, including private areas at the beach, private pools, lounges, and a unique adults-only program.
“At Paradisus by Meliá, the destination plays a key role in creating a genuine adventure,” said Susanna Mander, Global Director of Brand Marketing for Paradisus by Meliá. “We are so excited to provide guests the opportunity to discover the infinite pleasures of a vacation like nothing they have ever experienced before. These new offerings give our guests the chance to discover secret corners, enjoy authentic cuisine, meet local artists, and explore local destinations, providing a deeper understanding of their special culture.”
Paradisus by Meliá Debuts in Europe
Paradisus has also made its inaugural debut in Europe. On March 24, Paradisus Gran Canaria opened its doors as the first Paradisus by Meliá hotel brand in Europe. Located in Gran Canaria, the third largest in the Canary Islands, this destination has become one of the most popular Spanish destinations. Paradisus will open its second European location with Paradisus Salinas, slated to open on May 22.
