At the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula, you'll find the city of Los Cabos. But despite its distance from the mainland, you’ll discover true Mexican hospitality and zest for life, here. In this Los Cabos Mexico travel guide, you’ll learn all you need to know about this vibrant city.
Because of its remote location, first-time visitors are often apprehensive about transportation. But you won’t have to rent a car here in Los Cabos to get around. Public transportation is reliable, affordable, and convenient.
Locals and tourists alike depend on the bus service to get around. We never had a problem finding a bus along the Tourist Corridor, which is a 2-mile stretch between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. But what we did notice is that many of the bus drivers speak Spanish only.
Of course, there are many local taxis, but they aren’t cheap. You’ll recognize their shuttle service by their big blue vans.
Several top hotels also offer their taxi shuttle service to and from the airport.
