Carnival Cruise Line announced that Carnival Legend would join
Carnival Dream, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Jubilee sailing out of the Port of
Galveston in the fall of 2025.
The four ships will offer a variety of four- through 10-day
Western Caribbean sailings, while Carnival Legend will offer two Panama Canal
cruises. The voyages from Galveston are now on sale.
In the Western Caribbean, Carnival Legend will alternate
between shorter and longer sailings from fall 2025 into early 2026, including eight
four-day weekend getaways, seven 10-day exotic destination itineraries and an
eight-day Christmas sailing set for December 18, 2025.
“Carnival Legend’s deployment in Galveston strengthens our
already robust portfolio of sailings from Texas, adding more variety to the
offered itineraries, as well as another ship choice, and more opportunities for
cruises to Mexico and other Western Caribbean that fit any vacation length,” Carnival
Vice President Fred Stein said.
Ahead of its move to Galveston, Carnival Legend will sail a
16-day Carnival Journeys cruise that departs San Francisco on October 6, 2025. A
second 14-day Carnival Journeys voyage, roundtrip from Galveston, departs on
February 2, 2026.
In addition, the 2,124-passenger ship will also offer three
10-day Panama Canal cruises departing on October 27 and December 8, 2025, and
March 16, 2026. Carnival Legend boasts signature venues and accommodation
options, including 50 suites and over 630 balcony staterooms.
Earlier this week, Carnival announced the introduction of new
vegan menus on two ships and plans to add the option fleetwide in a phased
approach through the end of the year. The vegan offerings will first be added
to Carnival Freedom based out of Port Canaveral, Florida, and Carnival Horizon
at PortMiami.
