American Cruise Lines announced two new
exclusive U.S. National Parks cruises for 2024 exploring Alaska.
Next year, the company is offering 15- and 18-day
itineraries from Fairbanks to Juneau, which combine guided explorations in
Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks, along with small-ship cruising in
Glacier Bay, the Inside Passage and Frederick Sound. Both itineraries will also
visit Anchorage, Skagway, Sitka, Petersburg, Wrangell, and Tracy Arm.
The “18-Day Grand Alaska National Parks”
includes seven days of guided land exploration through Denali and Kenai Fjords
and 11 days of cruising. Departures are June 17, July 7, and July 31, 2024; and
June 26, July 6, and July 30, 2025.
The “15-Day Alaska National Parks” includes 7 days
of exploring Denali and Kenai Fjords parks and eight-days of cruising,
including Glacier Bay National Park. Departures are Aug. 27 and Sept. 3, 2024;
and July 23 and Aug. 26, 2025.
After the land portion, guests will board the 170-passenger
American Constellation in Juneau. The fully stabilized, U.S.-flagged ship offers
accommodations with private furnished balconies. Each itinerary features
complimentary guided shore excursions at every port, such as a Chilcat Bald
Eagle Raft Excursion in Haines, a private fishing charter in Petersburg, and a
Botanical Rainforest Walk in Wrangell.
The National Parks Alaska cruises include daily
enrichment with dedicated guides, all hotel accommodations and transportation
in the parks, an all-inclusive experience, including onboard enrichment and
entertainment, fine cuisine, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, a cocktail
hour with hors d’oeuvres each evening, and a Top Deck Hot Chocolate Bar.
American’s Alaska cruises also include complimentary alternative casual dining,
breakfast room service, Starlink Wi-fi, port charges and fees, and
tips/gratuities.
